On Tuesday last week when English Engineering lesson, Mr. Aji came a
little late. He was attends the class around 7.30. Actually in this meeting the
class was about to storytelling “Malam Satu Suro”, but because Mr. Aji didn’t
attend the class in Tuesday two week ago so we didn’t do the activities.
At the beginning of the lesson, Mr. Aji explain about interview foreign
people. It was a group task. In this task we should ask the foreigner about ICT
in their home country, they opinion about ICT in Indonesia and differences of
ICT from their home country and Indonesia. Also we ask about the foreigner
occupation, what they doing in Indonesia and our English translation when we make a resume from “Malam Satu
Suro”. Mr. Aji give us tips how to start the interview with the foreigner. Mr.
Aji inform to us what an rules how
to interview with other people and how to interview with a respectfult.
After that Mr. Aji give a lesson about Curriculum Vitae in British and America, and their differences. CV in English is slightly different from CV in America because in America didn’t included references in their CV. But they had similarities, both didn’t include personal identities in their CV to avoid Ethnicity, Religion, Race, and Social Groups issues. During the lesson Fawzul and Singgih listen the explanation. Sometimes we writes note about the topic Mr. Aji explain in front of the class. The other students just do the same as we do during the lesson.
And in the end of the lesson Mr. Aji give assignments to make a CV for our dream Job and the differences International CV and Local CV. All the assignment must be uploaded in our class website.
On 1 October, we will storytelling about “Malam Satu Suro” in front of class, just like when we story telling “Simba The Pride Lands”.

The difference between the local and the International ( British and America ) CV is on international CV does not include information / identity of a personal nature as to maintain privacy and avoid race, ethnic, religion, social groups issues but when asked to be included being the local CV contrary, they included the information / personal identity in order to provide clear data. Theopposite on Local CV include the personal identification such as day of birth, gender, age, status of marriage, etc. But British CV slightly from America CV because in America CV didn’t include references but in British CV include references intheir CV. Here the differences of all CV.
