2014, There was a lesson in class “PTI D 2012”. The lesson was
Bahasa Inggris Teknik II. Mr.Aji Prasetya who taught them came late
for fifteen minutes. He wore Batik, black Batik jacket, and brown
shoes. In this lesson, he explained about preparing and writing a
resume. It is also called resume (American Style), Curriculum vitae
(British English), Personal profile, Qualification Sheet, Personal
data sheet. It should be updated, if we want to apply for a job. His
student heard his explanation seriously. There is two kinds of
curriculum vitae (CV). Kinds of it are British and American. British
– Curriculum Vitae may contain Personal information,
Objective/Profile, Education and qualifications, Work experience,
Skills, Interests, References. American – Resume may contain
Personal information, Objective, Education and qualifications, Work
experience, Skills, Interests. The differences between British and
American are
References are not necessary in American, One Curriculum Vitae (CV) for one job in American. He explained about the assignments for next week too. The assignments are interview to the foreigners, compare both types of CVs with Indonesian resume, and create résumé/CV for your dream job. The topic for interview are introduction (about his/her identity), his/her occupation, compare ITC in Indonesia with their hometown, asked them about your Indonesian – English translate.
