On
September 2, 2014, at 07:00 to 08:40 am. In the first week English technique II
course, Mr. Aji began teaching. In this first week, He provide a little
motivation before entering explain the material and work to be done by students
in the coming weeks.
At
the beginning of this study, given the motivation is very motivated student. There
are things that make me interested in the slides Mr. Aji in this week,
“it is your attitude .. Not your aptitude. That determines your attitude”.
Sentences
that may seem simple, but has a great meaning. In this case teaches us how to
determine the character and attitude of our degrees, not intelligence. When He
explain the material I also had a chat with my friend. Discussing things that
have nothing to do with the material English Techniques II.
There
are also different ways to teach him in this course with the previous course.
In this course, He more emphasis on how students dare to ask and bold in
expressing opinions. In addition, He teach more motivation and words of wisdom.
It makes the subjects give a plus. Lessons will look nice if the lesson begins
with the provision of motivation or reinforcement. Thanks Mr. Aji.
In
this week Mr. Aji also describes several tasks regarding what to do for college
in the coming week.

At the first meeting of English Engineering II on Tuesday, September 2nd,
2014 was very enjoyable. Mr. Aji as a lecturer gave apperception to students or
in the other word, he opened the minds of students up before entering the
learning process. Mr. aji showed some slides containing a motivation to learn
English and an encouragement to develope our potential. There was a sentence
which does make my feeling being cringe, but it is also as a whip to be part of
a great people, the sentence was:
Do not just be an
ordinary person who could only say "How great that person is!”.
But be such kind of that
person ...
In addition Mr. Aji not only applied indoor learning classroom, but also
outdoor. So, it seemed like flexible (not rigid / monotone).
after the slide ended Mr. Aji explained
the course outline, such as the percentage of assessment and the topics that
will be our discussion a whole this semester. The topics are:
1.
Writing and presenting a report
2.
Writing a formal and non-formal letter
3.
Presenting interviews in English
4.
Translating
5.
Writing a summary
6.
Reporting news on TV or radio
7.
Reporting and presenting the results of a
survey or investigation
8.
Learning resources and materials
I
am happy learning English with Mr. Aji because he gave my friends and I a
lot of inspiration. I do hope that next meeting is surprising and enjoying J
