Today is the second meeting of
English for Engineering 2 . In this meeting, the activity is retelling about
The Lion King Movie . The method of the retelling the movie was each group must
telling about the story one by one in front of the class by reconnect the
previous story group and next story group . So the next group must tell the
next story according to the previous group . If the next group story wasn’t
connected to the previous group or they skip the story skip the story , the
group will get punishment from Mr.Aji .
The first group which perform
was Siti and Tyak group and then continued by the other group . When it was
Jevri and Daus group , they were doing some mistake when they retell the story
. So Mr.Aji gave them a punishment . The punishment is to sing ‘gundul-gundul
pacul’ song but using The Lion King story lyric .
After several groups, then Gagas
and Elfrid group doing the same mistake like Jevri and Daus . The punishment
from Mr.Aji is they must dancing like Pumba and Timon from The Lion King movie
with Hakuna Matata music as the background music . They were dancing really
funny , and making laugh whole of the people in the class . After all of the
groups perform in front of the class , Mr.Aji call randomly group from all of
the groups in that class . Gagas and Elfrid was perform in front of the class
again , and unpredictable the doing the same mistake again . So they get some
punishment from Mr.Aji again . For the punishment of this time was they have to
dancing with walking backward and face their opponent back each other from the
front of the classroom and the back of the classroom into the middle of the
classroom . It make all people in the class laugh very hard . After the
punishment is over , they continue the story until the end part .
At the end of the class , Mr.Aji gave us a task
to do . The task is to watch ‘Malam Satu Suro’ movie . It was a horror movie which
popular in 198O’s . In the next meeting each group must tell about the movie
again like The Lion King movie in this meeting .
