Weekly Report. 30 September 2014
Today, we must retell about Malam satu suro movie in
front of class with our group like before. Mr. Aji make 2 big group, he called
group A and B. then in each group A and B, there are small group called 1 until
9. When Mr. Aji call group B3, i and yogi must go in front of class, for the
first, yogi retell story in Indonesia and then i translate it into English. Mr.
Aji call us one by one, when all of group was done to retell but the story not
yet end, we must retell again. At the end retell, Mr. Aji call a group to
retell deleted scene.
At the end of class, Mr.Aji tell us about a task for
interview foreign, we must ask about their identities, what are they doing in
here, compare ict between Indonesia and their country, and ask they to give a
comment about our translation.

è At March i’m in Solo, learn about indonesia, and
since August i’m in Malang.

think about ICT in your country and in Indonesia?
è I’m Sorry, i dont use much of technology, in my
church, i mayn’t watch television, browsing internet or use smartphone. So i
cant compare technology in Indonesia and in America.

Before this
task, i have task to retell an Indonesia movie, can you read this, and give me
a comment about it? Please give grade like A-E or 0-100 and signature it too?

This is out translation
: (part in bold mode is a part which retell in front of class by our group)
Indonesia, have a ghost named Sundel Bolong. She is a
ghost with a hole in her back, have a long hair and always wear white clothes.
One day, there is a shaman named Ki Renggo, he don’t have a daughter, so one
night he change sundel bolong become a human and adopt her as a daughter. After
Ki renggo implant a nail in Sundel Bolong’s head and read “mantra”, then Sundel
Bolong become a human, named Suketi. After that night, Ki Renggo and his wife
live with Suketi in forest.
One day, there is 2 man who hunt a rabbit in the forest.
When one of that man named Bardo want to shoot a rabbit, he see Suketi who
stand near that rabbit. Bardo and his friend follow her and then find Suketi’s
house. When Bardo back to city, he
always think about Suketi, he say to his friend that he love Suketi and want to
marry her. So Bardo and his friend back to forest and meet Ki Renggo to
purpose Suketi, but Ki Renggo reject his purpose, when Suketi hear that, Suketi
sad. After Ki Renggo and his wife talk with suketi about marry, finally Ki
Renggo accept Bardo’s purpose. But Ki Renggo have a condition to bardo, Wedding
must be held in forest at first of Suro
Night without anyone who come to that wedding.
After Suketi and Bardo marriage, suketi live with bardo
in the City. They have 2 children named Reo and Pretty. Bardo success with his
business and become a rich man. One day, he meet a couple man who want to make
a deal with Bardo’s business, but Bardo reject it. A leader of that couple man,
named Joni was angry to Bardo, so he go to shaman to break Bardo’s carrier.
Shaman tell Joni about suketi that Suketi is Sundel Bolong, and as people
believed a man who marriage with Sundel bolong will be sucess and become rich
like Bardo get Rich and success because Bardo marriage with Sundel Bolong.
When
Joni know about that, he come to Bardo’s house
with shaman to pull out a nail in Suketi’s head, suddenly Suketi become
Sundel Bolong again. Babysitter and Suketi’s child was shock when they know
Suketi become a ghost and disappear. After that Reo call her father to tell
that his mother change into a ghost. When Bardo back to home, he confuse, he
dont know what really happen with suketi, so he go to Ki renggo’s house to ask
him how the story is. When Ki renggo heard about suketi, Ki renggo tell what he
was done long ago, when he change suketi.
In
the other place, a couple thieves come to Bardo’s house, they kidnap Pretty and
kill babysitter, when Reo see that, he cry and hide. Not longer from that,
Bardo back to home and find that babysitter was died, he call Reo and then find
him. Bardo get a call from thieves, they ask 50 millions as compensation. Bardo
agree with that, and promise to meet them. After they end a call, they see
police’s car. They afraid that they will get caught, because Pretty cry loudly,
so one of thieves muffle pretty until she die because she can’t breath. In
Bardo’s house, Reo tell about his dream to Bardo that Pretty say good bye to
him. In that Night, Bardo shock when he find a box in front of his house and
see pretty inside of it.
When
bardo’s enemy go to shaman, she say that Suketi will revenge. Bardo and
Reo is sleeping when Suketi playing piano ang sing a song. It’s make Bardo and
Reo wake up and see suketi. Bardo say to Suketi that he love suketi but now
they can’t live together.
Suketi
dig pretty’s grave and pick pretty’s body out. Suketi want to revenge to
thieves who kill pretty. After that, suketi and pretty’s ghost haunt chinese
dun seller, suketi pretending as a customer who want to buy chinese dun, when
chinese dun seller know that suketi is sundel bolong, he scared and run away.
Suketi come to one of joni’s underling and kill him.
One day, suketi haunt Bokir too.
Bokir is a singer. Suketi pretending as a beautiful woman who ask bokir to go
to bokir’s concert with her. When Bokir arrived in
his concert, he sing a song, but suddenly his concert change become graveyard,
and suketi become sundel bolong. After that, Bokir run away and meet one of
joni’s underling. When suketi know that, she kill joni’s underling.
The
next day, Joni come to shaman to pay her service. Joni ask shaman to save him.
So shaman and some joni’s underling come to graveyard to attack suketi. Several
minute they fight, finally shaman and joni’s underling kill by suketi.
