In the fifth meeting of English Engineering II, we was
retell about Malam Satu Suro movie. That was our task from two weeks ago. For
this time, the group that could tell the story in front of class
is a group with a number, the number of group was choosen randomly, and
the number which can presented choosen randomly too by Mr Aji.
The “Malam Satu Suro” movie told about Sundel Bolong, there was
a woman ghost that have a hole in her back. She was changed into a beautiful
girl after a shaman was embed a nail to her head. That ghost named Suketi. Suketi
was married with a human named Bardo, they were married in night one suro, so
they could have human child. But, because of one who jealous with their
harmonious family, the nail in Suketi’s head was taken of by him, his name is
Joni. And then Suketi was changed to Sundel Bolong again. Suketi’s spirit was
haunt, moreover when Suketi Child’s named Preety was killed by Joni’s
underling. After Suketi was reveanged, Suketi was gone with composedly.
We told in front of class with one of member in group told
in Indonesian, and other member told in English. A group only told two
sentences, and tho other group told the next story. And like the last review we
were doing in the previously meeting, if there were group which slided over the
part of story, they would punished. But in this meeting, no group who silded
over, so no group was punished.
For the next meeting, we must telling our interview with
foreign who speak Englih everyday. We must asking their identities, comparation
about ICT in Indonesian and in their home town, and we also must give our
review about “Malam Satu Suro” movie. We must asking does they understand the
story or not. In this weekend, we planning to looking for foreign for this
interview.
