English Engineering lesson with Mr Aji had entered the sixth
week. At this meeting, the students presented the task of interviewing tourists
which had been given in previous week. Mr. Aji asked the students to recall the
number owned by each group were acquired previous week. From that group number,
then added with a single digit. So, for example, Ilham and Iqbal got number 8
in previous week, then this week they got the number 9. Just like previous
week, Mr Aji called group numbers randomly.
On this week, Iqbal, who was Ilham’s group, came too late.
It made Ilham a little worried because some groups have started to present
their work. But finally, Iqbal came to the class. In the classroom, they are
still completing their unfinished powerpoint presentation. Shortly after that,
they was called by Mr Aji to present their interview with the tourists.
They told about tourist that they met, namely Elder Wills.
They said that Wills is American people who worked as volunteer in the church
in Malang. They also told Elder Wills’s opinion about the differences of IT in
Indonesia and America.
In this week, not all groups could presented their interview,
because there is not enough time. After some groups had been presented their
interview, Mr. Aji reviewed their presentations. Mr. Aji said that the students
had been presented a tourist’s identity and job. But, most of the students
still did not provided a detaied explanation about ICT comparison in Indonesia
and tourist’s country. So, Mr Aji asked the students to develop their
interview, especially about IT comparison. The students didn’t have to do any
more interview, but they could developed the tourist’s opinion about ICT with
some references. For example, Youtube videos, articles, etc, which was related
to ICT in tourist’s country.
